Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). He has obtained a Ph.D. degree in Law & Economics from the Beijing Institute of Technology BIT, China. He completed his Ph.D. with the full bright Chinese Government Scholarship granted by the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) in 2020. He was engaged as a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Judicial Studies (IAJS), Beijing Institute of Technology, China. Moreover, he was enthusiastically involved in a project of The Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) for constructing a “Legal Framework of Dispute Settlement Mechanism under the APSCO” under the auspicious supervision of the Institute of Space Law, BIT. In this regard, he has proposed a legal framework for resolving dispute settlement among the APSCO member states titled “Moving Towards a Potential Conflict Resolution Mechanism Under the APSCO Framework A Proposed Legal Mechanism” which has been published in the Aerospace China journal. He has published several pieces of research works extensively on International Space Law, Child rights, judicial independence, judicial reforms, etc. He attended several International Conferences in China and Turkey including the GLEX International Conference in Beijing, China.
