Dr. Md. Areeful Haque is a researcher and a faculty member of the Department of Pharmacy at International Islamic University Chittagong. He received his PhD in Pharmacy from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in November 2018, and is one of the youngest PhD holders in Bangladesh. He was an awardee of the prestigious Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) during his PhD research. He won the MNPS Best PhD Thesis Award and Excellent PhD Student Award in 2018. He was nominated for the UKM PhD Gold Award in 2018 for his excellent academic and research achievement in PhD. Recently, he has been enlisted as one of the top contributing researchers at IIUC based on the Scopus Research Rankings of 2020 and 2021, respectively. Dr. Haque is a Registered Pharmacist of the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh and a member of the Malaysian Natural Products Society. He has participated in several national and international conferences/research seminars and served as a member of organizing committees in his professional career. Dr. Haque has published a good number of papers in several high-impact peer-reviewed journals. He is currently serving on the editorial boards and as a reviewer of a number of reputed journals.
