Presently, Prof. Dr. Engr. Muhammad Abu Eusuf P. Eng. is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). Before joining with IIUC, he was working with 1Uttara University (UU) during pandemic period (2020), 2International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) from January 2001 until 2021, 3Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) until 2000, 4Saitama University, Japan until 1996 and as 5professional Engineer work in Government Engineering department until 1990. He served in the various academic-administrative position at national and International arena. Among those, Prof. Eusuf has been working as the Head of the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering department until 2000 at SUST, as the Head of Building Technology and Engineering (BTE) department, Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design(KAED), IIUM, from 2001 to 2007 and 2011 to 2012; as the Chairman of Civil Engineering department from January to May 2020 at UU; as the Deputy Dean (in charge), KAED, 2004-2005 at IIUM.

He obtained his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 1981, from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Master’s in 1988 and Ph.D in Civil and Engineering from Saitama University, Japan, in 1996, PGD in Islamic revealed knowledge from IIUM, Malaysia in 2005. Prof. Eusuf has been serving as a member of the evaluation committee for the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme and the Science Fund since 2006. He is also the Editorial board member of the IIUM Engineering Journal; Journal Quantity surveying and construction Business (JQSCB); and Journal of Architecture, Planning, and construction management. He served as the Board of studies Member of Civil Engineering Programme for the Faculty of Engineering (2009 ~ 2018) and Building Technology & Engineering (BTE) (2001~2012) for the faculty of KAED IIUM.
