Third Day of Teachers' Development Training-2026 Held at BARD

Third day of the three-day Teachers' Development Training-2026 organized by International Islamic University Chittagong is being held today. The training is taking place from August 19 to 21 at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) in Cumilla. A total of 120 IIUC teachers are taking part in the training. On the third day Dr. Md. Abul Kalam, Chairman of the Department of Shariah and Islamic Studies at IIUC conducted a session on 'Teaching from Hadith.' Another session titled 'Teaching in Action: Morality, Ethics & Responsive Classroom' was conducted by Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka. A lecture session was also held as part of the training. Professor Dr. Muhammad Hasmat Ali, Pro Vice-Chancellor of IIUC delivered the lecture. A workshop was also arranged for the participating teachers. In the workshop, each group was given 30 minutes for brainstorming and 5 minutes for presentation. The closing ceremony of the three-day training will be held today. Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali Azadi, Vice-Chancellor of IIUC will deliver the closing speech.
